Official San Francisco Bear Weekend Events
San Francisco's rich history and multi-cultural population means that there's always plenty to do and see in the City by the Bay. Below are times and locations of the Weekend's major events.

As the saying goes, "man does live by bear alone", so we encourage visitors to explore our remarkable city.
Why not catch a Giant's game at Oracle Park, or visit the California Academy of Sciences?
If culture is more your thing, we offer a number of major museums including SF MOMA, The Legion of Honor, the Jewish Cultural Museum, the Museum of the African Diaspora. and the Museum of Craft and Design.
Want to commune with nature? Then spend some time in Golden Gate Park and Ocean Beach at the western side of the city, or Crissy Field or Baker Beach on the Bay side. And San Francisco is home to two NEW urban parks: the Presidio Tunnel Tops features an adverturious playground and naturalistic landscapes, and Panorama Park on Yerba Buena Island offers 360-degree views of the entire Bay Area.
Feeling a bit more touristy? The Embarcadero may be for you. Walking along this scenic waterfront area along the city's eastern shore, you 'l discover a treasure trove of things to do and see: check out the local produce and artisans at the Ferry Building, explore the wonders of the Exploratorium ( especially the Tactile Room); soak up some local history on Fisherman's Wharf, say hello to the sea lions sunning themselves at Pier 39 and finish your walk in Ghirardelli Square or at The Buena Vista - where Irish Coffee was introduced to America!

Contestants must identify as male, be a resident of Northern California, and be over the age of 21 before August 15th, 2024.

The Mr. San Francisco Bear Contest is a project of the Alta California Leather Corps (ACLC). ACLA is a a tax-exempt 501(c)(3)
non-profit organization serving Northern California. The club is composed mostly of residents of Northern California,
with many members residing in the Bay Area and Sacramento regions.
Our purpose is to promote educational and charitable activities through social interaction among people with an interest in
leather, Levi’s, uniforms, and latex.
